Kim Lorraine Conner, 54, died at 5:30 A.M. Sunday, June 19, 2011 in the Nowata Nursing Center.
Private family services will be held at a later date and cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.
Kim was born January 16, 1957, in Yuma, Arizona to Norman and Betty Jane (Pruett) Turner. She received her education in various locations while she was growing up. She came to Nowata to make her home in July of 2003. Kim had been active as an artist and sculptor. She had been employed part-time at Osage Nursing Home assisting residents with crafts and activities. She had also been employed with Allied Signal at the Port of Catoosa. She was an avid fan of Pastor Arnold Murray of Gravette, Arkansas.
Kim is survived by a daughter, Stacey Kempton and husband Michael of Nowata; One son, Linvin Clayton Doty IV, Tulsa, Ok.; Two brothers: Johnny McLain of Tulsa, OK. And Patrick Pelley of Claremore, Ok.; Two sisters: Debra Turner, Glendale, Arizona and Tammy Waltz of Phoenix, Arizona, Five grandchildren: Linvin Cleighton Doty V, Tyler Neal Kinsey, Tiffany Paige Kinsey, Savannah Sage Kempton, Emma Rose-Marie Kenpton; A very close friend and roadrunner, Maggie Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in infancy, Randy Doe Pelley.
